Didem Pekün combines research and practice. In her essay films, she addresses how violence and displacement define and destroy life. A founding member of the Center for Spatial Justice (MAD), Istanbul, she holds a PhD in Visual Cultures from Goldsmiths, and is currently a fellow at Graduate School / Berlin Center for the Advanced Studies in Arts and Sciences @ UdK, Berlin. Srećko Horvat is a philosopher. He has been active in various movements for the past two decades. He co-founded the Subversive Festival in Zagreb and, together with Yanis Varoufakis, founded DiEM25. He published more than a dozen books translated into 15 languages, most recently Poetry from the Future, Subversion!, The Radicality of Love and What Does Europe Want?.
